The main benefit of a PhD of high level scientific expertise combined to a first professional experience lasting about three years. The PhD supervisor which the doc wanted to work, is a key person in the PhD organisation:
On the one hand, the PhD supervisor watches the training of PhD student within the school Graduate School. A charter describing the objectives of the training and commitments of each is signed by all parties: the PhD candidate, the supervisor, the director of the research unit, and the director the graduate school.
On the other hand, it has funding to pay the PhD candidate and the means for the preparation of the PhD: purchase consumables, instrumentation, spectroscopy, etc. .... A contract term employment determined is established for the PhD by the Department of Human Resources university or similar organization.
